Deep Hamburger, Sausage & Pepperoni Pie
A hearty, cheesy, and meaty deep-dish pie loaded with ground beef, sausage, and pepperoni, baked inside a flaky crust. Perfect for pizza lovers who crave an extra indulgent twist!
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
1 refrigerated pie crust (or homemade)
For the Filling:
½ pound ground beef
½ pound Italian sausage, casing removed
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup sliced pepperoni
1 egg (for egg wash)
Directions:
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the crust: Roll out the pie crust and press it into a 9-inch deep-dish pie pan. Poke a few holes in the bottom with a fork and bake for 5 minutes to prevent sogginess. Remove and set aside.
Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, sausage, and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add seasonings: Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Assemble the pie:
Spread ½ cup of marinara sauce over the baked crust.
Layer half of the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Add the cooked meat mixture.
Spread the remaining ½ cup marinara sauce over the top.
Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Arrange the pepperoni slices evenly on top.
Finish with Parmesan cheese.
Bake: Brush the crust edges with beaten egg for a golden finish. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Cool & Serve: Let the pie sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
