Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites
A Cheap & Irresistible Treat
These little cinnamon-sugar bites are warm, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious — and the best part? They use canned biscuits, so they’re ready in under 30 minutes. Perfect for a quick weekend breakfast, dessert, or cozy snack.
Ingredients
For the bites:
- 1 small roll of canned biscuits (8-count works great)
- ¼ cup sugar (half white, half brown sugar)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1–2 tablespoons butter
For the icing:
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 teaspoons milk
- ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter: Place the butter in a 6×9-inch baking pan and let it melt in the preheating oven.
- Prepare the dough: Cut the biscuits into quarters.
- Coat with cinnamon sugar:
- In a zip-top bag, combine the white and brown sugars with cinnamon.
- Add the biscuit pieces and shake until all are coated evenly.
- Bake: Spread the coated biscuit pieces evenly in the pan over the melted butter.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the bites are puffed and golden brown.
- Make the icing: While the bites bake, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth.
- Drizzle and enjoy: As soon as the bites come out of the oven, drizzle the icing generously over the warm biscuits.
Tips
- For extra richness, sprinkle chopped nuts or a little extra brown sugar before baking.
- Want a caramel twist? Use melted brown sugar and butter as the base instead of plain butter.
- These taste best warm but can be reheated in the microwave for 10–15 seconds.
